HELP HAS ARRIVED

Joe Luksha knows the extreme effort it takes to move sick or injured people from the field to a treatment location after 20 plus years in the military.

"I wanted to take that 'Can Do' spirit I inherited from the US Navy Seabees and invent needed equipment that would make the transfer of a sick or injured person easy and keep the patient as comfortable as possible while requiring only one person to move the patient" stated Joe Luksha, President of Med-Zone, Inc.

What started this whole process was a request about four year ago through the internet to Joe.  The request was for a specialized wheeled gurney or stretcher to move ill or injured people from remote locations.

Two Doctors from the U.K. working in Zambia, Africa as missionaries desperately needed some kind of specialized equipment to move sick and/or injured people from remote locations over uneven terrain to the hospital for treatment.   In many of these locations there are only foot paths or dirt roads and no local ambulance service like we are accustomed to here in the USA.

Joe contacted the Doctors and informed them that if he could not locate something that would serve their needs, that he would get busy and invent something that would solve their problem.   After continuous correspondence for over 12 months and many redesigns of prototypes, Joe and his Team arrived at the "All Terrain Gurney", The ATG.

The ATG is quite unique.  One person can take an injured or ill person through rough terrain to a treatment location or to a location for conventional transfer to a hospital.   The ATG is simple in design enabling it to stand up to the riggers of off road use.  When its no longer needed, it quickly folds in half for storage.

All of the teams hard work paid off and 2 ATG's were sold and shipped to Zambia, Africa.   Recently, members of Fire and Rescue from Manatee County in Florida and a Fire and Rescue team from the Carolina's have reviewed the ATG and all noted that this equipment was needed a long time ago and would be of enormous help in retrieving people from rough areas.

The ATG currently has a patent pending as it goes through it's final tweaking before it goes to manufacture, "There are a couple of small things to get just right" Joe stated.
There will be two additional types of ATG, one for the seashore and one for snow country.
